I’ve wangled a podcast of my nature writing weekly blog with the very lovely and generous people at a local nature-related festival who I met through one of their writing competitions.

It seemed silly not to ask if I could have a slot on the festival’s week long programme and they’ve very kindly given me two 10 minute ones.

The challenge was in the recording as I decided, perhaps over ambitiously, that it had to be done in the woods I write about. Eventually managed to make two good enough ones, not ruined by dropping the recorder or loud dogwalkers or planes flying over.

The first one went live this morning.

Altogether a really positive thing to do and a way in to meeting a whole load of other nature and environment folk contributing to the festival.
