I had such fun co-leading last Saturday’s free online nature-writing workshop in the run up to the Solstice with the wonderful conservation officer and emerging nature writer, Chantelle Lindsay.

We had 34 participants from as far afield as Australia and Pakistan, even though the morning time slot possibly made it hard for our usual US participants to join us.

It was the first time I’d been solely responsible for all the technical aspects which thankfully went very smoothly so that’s feel like a major learning milestone.

I’m now busy curating an online anthology from some fantastic #ThumbnailNature submissions on the theme of The Nature of Light. I’m hoping it will be published within a couple of weeks by the London Wildlife Trust.

Further online nature-writing workshops are planned for August, October, December and February, and all will be advertised on this website and through Eventbrite. All thanks to the Arts Council.
